ABOUT SUSAN
Susan McDonough is a writer, mother, wife, gardener, teacher, cat lover and book addict.
She self-published her books Snail’s Pace (space alien snails) and Arabella’s Gift (a dragon who was a Catholic bishop) after both were accepted for publication by companies which subsequently went out of business. So it goes.
Matriarchs: Eliza's Revenge is the latest publication. She also has a short story in the anthology Growing Pains.
“Well written,” “quirky sense of humor,” and “doesn’t fit the genre” are the comments she hears most about her books and stories.

"I always tell people that I became a writer not because I went to school but because my mother took me to the library. I wanted to become a writer so I could see my name in the card catalog."
